SIA „Baltic Waste & Energy Group”, specializing in sustainable waste management and renewable energy solutions, achieved significant growth in financial performance in 2024, demonstrating growth trends across all segments of environmental services offered.
The group's total turnover last year reached 35.3 million euros, which is 33.2% higher compared to 2023. Meanwhile, the total EBITDA last year amounted to 11 million euros, an increase of 41.4% compared to 7.8 million euros in 2023. In 2024, the group companies' payments to the state budget amounted to 5.2 million euros, and over 271,732 tons of waste were managed.
The growth was primarily driven by the expansion of the company’s services in the Baltic region over the past years, close collaboration with existing clients, and focused efforts on process automation and quality improvement within our group companies. In 2024, we expanded the range of waste managed, increased recycling capacities, and made significant investments in modern sorting technologies. For example, we renovated the metal scrap processing line, which now allows for the recycling of electronics, and we initiated the recycling process for gypsum board. In 2025, we will continue to improve our sorting facility to manage the waste entrusted to us more efficiently and effectively, while also introducing new sustainable solutions by adopting the best European practices in waste management that meet the contemporary environmental and energy challenges," says Ivars Lamberts, CEO of SIA "Baltic Waste & Energy Group.
