The holding company SIA "Baltic Waste & Energy Group", specializing in sustainable waste management and renewable energy solutions, has signed an agreement with Riga Technical University (RTU) for the implementation of a scientific research project titled "Use of cold bonded MSWI ash for lightweight aggregates in concrete production." Within the framework of the project, a technology for the granulation of ash-based aggregates will be developed and their properties studied, with the goal of reducing CO₂ emissions in concrete production.
